Annual Review

Your life changes. Your planning should change with it.

Estate planning is not a one-off transaction. A plan that was right five years ago may no longer reflect your life, your family or your wishes. Our Annual Review keeps everything current.

Why review?

What has changed in your life in the last 12 months?

Life changes, and an out-of-date plan can be worse than no plan at all. A Will written before a second marriage, a new property, or the birth of a child may not represent your wishes at all.

The Annual Review is not just about updating documents. It's a check across your whole life, Handover, policies, ownership and wishes, to make sure everything is still current and correct.

Events that should trigger a review

Marriage or divorce
Birth of a child or grandchild
Death of a beneficiary or executor
Buying or selling property
Starting or selling a business
Significant inheritance
Retirement
Serious illness or incapacity
Change in relationship status
Moving home
Change in business ownership
Change in financial circumstances
Changes to tax legislation
Change in trust or trustee arrangements
Change in who you'd want as executor or attorney
