Estate planning for real lifeMore than a Will.
A plan for life.
Estate planning is not only about what happens when you die. It is about making sure your wishes are clear, your affairs are organised, the right people can step in when needed, and your family knows what to do when life changes.
Your Life Matters
Plan for the unexpected as well as the inevitable. Good planning looks after you, not just those you leave behind.
Your Family Matters
Give the people you love clarity instead of confusion. A plan that works in the real world, when they actually need it.
Your Wishes Matter
Make sure your decisions are known and properly documented, while you have the time and freedom to make them yourself.
Your Legacy Matters
Protect what you have built and plan for what happens next, to your family, your property, your business and your affairs.
The bigger picture
A Will is important. It isn't the whole estate plan.
Many people believe that once they have made a Will, everything is sorted. In reality, a Will may be only one part of what your family needs.
When someone dies or loses capacity, families are often left trying to reconstruct that person's entire life, searching for documents, accounts, policies and information that should have been organised long before they needed it.
Find Out What Might Be MissingFamilies are left asking
- Who can act if you lose capacity?
- Where are your important documents?
- What property do you own?
- What insurance policies exist?
- What happens to your business?
- Who knows where your accounts are?
- What happens to your digital life?
- What are your funeral wishes?
- Who knows what practical arrangements need dealing with?

Our approach
Our approach to estate planning: we help you get your life in order
Most estate planning starts with a document to sell. We start with an honest look at your life, what you have, what you are missing, and what would happen if something changed.
The free What If? Test, The Life In Order Roadmap, The Handover and the Annual Review exist because a Will alone is not the answer.
Plan it.
Protect it.
Organise it.
Leave clarity.

Common questions
Estate planning questions, answered simply
Is a Will enough on its own?
A Will only takes effect after someone has died. It does not help if you lose mental capacity, and it does not tell your family where your accounts, policies and documents are. A Will is important, but it is only one part of an estate plan.
Does my spouse automatically have power of attorney?
No. Without a registered Lasting Power of Attorney, your husband, wife or partner does not automatically gain the legal authority to manage your finances or make health and welfare decisions for you.
What does estate planning include?
Estate planning usually includes a Will and Lasting Powers of Attorney, and for some people trust planning, along with the practical information your family would need. Not everyone needs every part, and some situations need specialist legal, tax or financial advice.
What is the What If? Test?
It is a free online check that shows what appears to be in place and where there may be gaps, so you know what to sort out first. It is general guidance, not legal advice.
